These changes are implemented in stages, with some taking effect immediately, others on December 1st, 2024, and a few effective starting on May 1st, 2025. This adjustment process aims to reflect each player’s evolving performance accurately and maintain balanced competitive play.
Jacob Klentner’s handicap will rise from 3 to 4 goals, effective in May 2025, marking a significant milestone in his arena career. Similarly, Nicolas Harriott will see his handicap increase from 2 to 3 goals in May, recognizing his recent development on the field. Immediate changes also include Tiamo Hudspeth’s move from 3 to 4 goals, signaling her impact in the arena.
On the other hand, certain players experienced reductions. Jose Celis and Rafael Diaz dropped from 4T to 3 goals, a reflection of the USPA’s efforts to ensure that players are accurately ranked based on current form and competitive results. Elizabeth Beer also saw her handicap reduced from 3T to 2, effective immediately, adjusting her position within the arena competition landscape.
